Social Bookmarks Plugin Version 2

A new version of the plugin is now available. This version is the result of the feedback that I received from the previous release.

  • The plugin now supports blogs that are located in a subdirectory of your site.
  • The bar is now displayed at the end of the posts
  • The plugin is no longer limited on the single page of a post
  • Last but not least, no more modification of any template files!

You can download the new version from the Social Bookmarks Bar page.

    Hi! Just wanted to say thanks for the great plugin. I was using the wp-Notable plugin, but having all those buttons at the bottom of every post looked messy. Your plugin keeps my site looking clean and lovely, and it works like a charm. Thanks for sharing your hard work!

    If you’re using the latest version and your bookmark links are appearing but the images aren’t, change line 48:

    $plugin_dir = get_option(’siteurl’).’/wp-content/plugins/social_bar/’;

    to:

    $plugin_dir = get_option(’siteurl’).’/wp-content/plugins/social_bar_2/’;

    Thanks for a great plugin.

    or you simply rename the directory to social_bar on your wordpress plugin directory. I have updated the download so that all the contained files are in a directory called social_bar.

    Too bad that you don’t use the plugin in your own posts :(

    Panos,

    I do use the plugin in my own posts :-) . I simply do not use version 2 as it is a really old version. The latest version is 3.1 which I use in my site.
