Adblock Fine-Tuning
adblock is an excellent extension for Mozilla Firefox that filters the ads from the pages that you visit. You can fine tune it by specifying some filters that apply to the most of the sites on the web.
You can do that from the Tools/adblock/Preferences option on the drop-down menu or by pressing Control + Shift + P on your keyboard (Windows Platform).
Type the filters specified below on the New Filter text field and press the Add button to them on the list. Note that you can input one filter at a time.
- *banners*
- */ads/*
- */ad/*

- *.valueclick.*
- *.fastclick.*
- *.euroclick.com/*
- */ADSA*
- *.falkag.*

You can also import the filters into Adblock by creating an empty text file and then copy & paste the text between the lines below and save the file.

Once you have created the text file then you shoud go to Tools/adblock/Preferences option on the Firefox drop-down menu. Select the Adblock Options/ Import Filters… option and point to the file that we have just created.
Note: When you import the file then any existing filters will be wiped-out.
