EPIG Add-Ons

EPIG2 has been quite successful with more than 500 downloads. So, it is time to announce the development of two add-ons for the Easy Peasy Image Gallery (EPIG).

  • Config Editor: Editing XML files may not be straight forward for everyone. This add-on facilitates the customisation of the config.xml by making use of a web form that stores the user’s options in the config.xml. No more manual editing of the config file. You can grab this add-on from the download section.
  • Album Gallery: In the case that you want to publish more than one set of photos/images. This add-on groups the images in albums. It displays one of the album images as a thumbnail with the album’s title and description. - Currently this is add-on is under development.

Easy Peasy Image Gallery (EPIG) 2

The new version EPIG is now available to download. This version has been released as EPIG 2 and not as EPIG 1.2. The reason for the jump in the version numbering is that I have re-written more than 90% of the original code and the code structure now follows the MVC methodology.
